About

Erica Criss was born in Akron, OH, and currently lives in Queens, NY. She graduated from Kent State University (KSU) in 2012 with a Master's in Fine Art.

 

Criss majored in printmaking and received a Graduate Teaching Fellowship at KSU. There she taught several printmaking courses and managed the printmaking studio on campus. She also helped to open the non-profit printmaking studio, Rubber City Prints (RCP), in downtown Akron before making the move to New York City.

In 2012 Criss moved to New York City and began working for non-profit art organizations across functions such as program development, operations, exhibition development, and fundraising. For 6 years she ran the Manhattan Graphics Center, a fine art printmaking studio in mid-town Manhattan.

 

Criss is the founder of CRISS Collaborations and is currently working as an independent consultant for artists and non-profits.
